Zoo Fieldtrip

I spent a beautiful day at the zoo with Hayden's preschool class.  The favorite part of our day was the sea lions show.  It was great to spend a day with Hayden and his friends.

First Booboo

I should be happy that Kate made it to 13 months with no significant injuries considering her two crazy brothers.  She had her first big injury last week, she fell off the couch and landed on a hotwheel!  I have stepped on those many of times and they hurt so I can only imagine one hitting your eye would be pretty painful. 

Five Years Old

Luke turned 5 on April 4th.  I had promised the boys I would make a doggie birthday cake for him, but his birthday happened to fall on Easter and with our trip to Abilene and Jack's family birthday party that weekend, I didn't have time to make Luke a cake.  So when we got back from Abilene on Sunday evening, we decided to take everyone to Sheridan's for Luke's birthday.  Sheridan's has a special doggie ice cream cone and Luke loves it!  Afterwards we all went to the park.

Sims Egg Hunt

7 kids and hundreds of eggs on 40 acres (ok, so maybe we didn't use all 40!) The cousins all had a blast looking for easter eggs this year at Grandpa Sims' house.  Grandpa had to use the 4wheeler this year to hide eggs because of his broken ankle.  It's amazing how quickly they found all the eggs.  Well at least we hope they found them all otherwise there are some deer that may have consumed chocolate for the first time!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Easter snuck up on me this year and we didn't get eggs colored the weekend before so Dad wasn't able to help this year.  We ended up coloring eggs the night before we left town to go to Abilene for the weekend.  The boys had fun all the same and we ended up with some bright colored eggs!

Get ready...........

Get ready for some serious blogging updates!  I finally broke down and went to Walmart to get all my pics on CD so I can post them.  It was taking too long to get our computer back and we have had way too much going on to wait!  So be prepared- I have LOTS of pictures to share.  Easter egg hunt, coloring easter eggs, Easter morning, kite festival, first fishing trip- just to name a few.

Preschool egg hunt

Sorry about the delay in getting Easter pics posted.  Our laptop has been down and that is the only way I have to transfer pics from my camera to the computer!  Still don't have all of them, but a few from Hayden's school.

I was able to spend the morning at Hayden's preschool for their Easter party.  The kids made resurrection rolls, had worship time and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine by having an egg hunt.
